We have one new euro comand with DVD playback left in our Californian stock incase anybody is interested in it and wants to get it installed in either the LA area, Bay area, Boston or Las Vegas within the upcoming 2 weeks.
The unit is compatible with the Mercedes TV tuner, the mercedes center rear monitor BUT is not compatible with the US specific SATelite radio system!
The price for this unit is 2250USD incl. installation or shipping, the comand manual and a 12 month warranty.

We also have one complete TV tuner set left in stock – this set exists of the TV tuner, the TVt wiring, the antenna wiring, 2 original Mercedes antenna amplifiers (which replace your current antenna amps) and a possibly needed bracket plus trunkliner (which will cost extra).
This TV tuner is only compatible with eurospec comands that have the connectors to support video input & output – please be aware that not all euro comands come with these connectors (for those who bought their euro comands elsewhere)!
The price for this set is 1500USD shipped or 1600USD installed (excluding the bracket and trunkliner incase needed).

And furthermore we have one set of original 4way illuminated AMG doorsills left in our californian stock - this set can be offered for 750USD shipped or 950USD installed (in either the LA area, Bay area or Las Vegas).

Just play'n. I get a lot of compliments on mine. I'm surprised how many people notice them.

hope all's well. OT, I know, but while I have your attention, can you do memory seats on W202s? We probably covered it but I've been very forgetful lately.

Steve, these sills for the W211 are original MB - not aftermarket. So this is 'easy' for my little brother to install.

Steve is that the same set you have for the CLS? Same fit for the E as the CLS?

Are the illuminated door sills hard to install yourself? I know that is a relative answer, I have no car wiring experience.

yes CLS and E-class illumi sills are the same

that depends on how easy you are to be satisfied with work done on your car - if the sills get installed the right way - it is timetaking (not too difficult though)

Steve, very interested in the euro command since after reading up on your site I see there is no way to get mine to play DVD's. However, my car DOES have Sirius. Is there a unit that can play DVD's and keep the satellite radio? If so, is there a credit back for my US spec COMAND or do I need to sell it out right?

US spec W211 comands can get Sirius SAT radio integrated.

Euro W211 comands have DVD playback, and the possibility to get a TV tuner and / or center monitor connected.

There is NO WAY you can get Sirius integrated with the Euro comand. And your US comand can't be versioncoded to play movie DVDs.

AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!! That effing SUCKS!!! So the only alternative is a separate satellite receiver plugged into a euro COMAND if I want satellite radio AND DVD playback??

The door sills from the E55 and the CLS55 are TOTALLY DIFFERENT. I have the Brabus set and they look identical to the ones that were replaced on the CLS. These are the E55 door sills. That doesnt meant hey won't work, they just look completely different.
