No, someone has to fish the wires through. If you take it to the dealership, apparently, it is a 6-8 hour job, which requires the removal of a lot of different panels.

Here's a pic from Steve (MBenzNL) showcasing what's included in the illuminated doorsills.

MBenzNL just put mine in and it is NO easy task!! Dean had my car all torn apart to get all the wiring in. They do look great and most importantly, stock. They work great with the car's features, i.e. on when supposed to and not when not. I love them. Definitely lots of $ for party lights.

You can buy the door stills from For My Mercedes (see link) they are $150.00.http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...l+Replacements

Here is a link for the instruction on how to install them. It’s supposed to be pretty easy. I have the stills and will install them soon myself. https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...ted+door+sills

Those are no OEM sills though, but nonetheless look nice.

There are differences with the wiring. The aftermarket ones do not "plug" into the system, so they do not have all the features. Things like, when on / off, timers, etc.
