Your NAV unit?
I have a TomTom gps that I use in my other cars and that has been accurate far more than the MB unit.I live in a town of about 15k and it doesn't even show 10% of the streets.
I just got my 06' E55 last week, and I was told that the dvd that came with it is MB's latest.
Very disappointing.
Several things about this unit annoy me.
1. It will not take you to the exact house/business number
2. It will not show ETA or miles to destination on Map
3. No voice activation like Acura or Lexus NAVS.
Plus, If I want to switch between Nav an CDC/Ipod. The whole command shuts down and reboots itself requiring me to input Nav data again.
Has anyone had the same experience? How do you fix it?

We had this discussion before on the board and we all agreed that our NAV unit is horrible compared to others like Lexus/Honda (touch screen) but we did NOT buy our car for the NAV unit...

I'm beginning to think that there is a finite limit to the storage capacity on the DVD disc that will never allow complete coverage of the US. Small towns and rural areas are sacrificed to allow for complete urban coverage.
Hopefully I'm wrong....
Compiling and selling dvd's by region rather than the entire country.
I'll never take my E55 anywhere beyond the midwest.
