Do 2005+ E55 have improved I/C pumps?

Do 2005+ E55 have improved I/C pumps?
Does anyone know if 2005 and newer E55s have imporved I/C pumps and thus don't require the Johnson I/C pump upgrade. If so, what makes them improved over the older models. Do they pump faster than the previous models. Are they just as good as the Johnson pump?

2003 E55 AMG
As far as I know they are the same pump that the older models have. The only exception is that the older cars 2003 and some 2004 required a TSB to fix something to do with the intercooler pump. I believe that TSB was applied to the newer cars out of the factory.
The recommended action is to purchase the Johnston pump and replace the stock one. It flows 90lpm vs. 14lpm stock.
