Some pictures + Big Thanks

I was worried about the lip and lowering too, but it worked out fine... if I'm anywhere near driveways, dips or just a wack street, I raise the car... which is now like having it be stock ride height... my car is lowered in this pic with the lip. Only one dip messed with me so far, and its because I didn't raise the sucker. What I do love about the lip is that is a) tough b) mounted very securely and c) any contact is on the underside and not visible.
Not that I want contact, but unlike other cars I've had, this one hides its nicks pretty well...
Did the entire 5 to and from San Diego and *** arena... then to and from Oakland (!!!) on the 5 without a single hitch with the car lowered.
But damn, the bugs on the 5... it was a horror movie on the front of my car!

thanks for the kind words guys. Vic, I will give you a heads up when I'm in the area so you can get a look @ the thing....I'm leavin for Japan tomorrow though and I'll be gone for awhile =P Lowering the car increases the chances of turnin the lip into a curb feeler, messes with the alignment (aka too much camber in the rear), and + I want no trouble with the dealers for this car since I probably won't work on this car myself. Oakland has some crappy streets...if you were in downtown you have some real skills to avoid some serious crap roads.... and it takes awhile to raise the car....that's why I'm concerned. I'm hoping my buddy from z1auto will start doing german stuff too so he can hook all of you guys up with some serious customer service...right now he only does imports...and deals with brabus for some reason (random I know). Waiting for him to jump in the game so I can bug him. =P As for the chrome....nothin on the car is realy all that chromed out other than the grill and handles....I like the classy look for now. =) And thanks for the complement on the evo, it really is a monster and a half. Raw driving at its best.

I think the CLS looks evil at best of times, with or without blacked out chrome, and I don't mean it kindly...

The rear end of the CLS looks "odd" to me.
IMO the black-out treatment seems to blur the lines and gives it a shadow/silhouette appearance which does enhance the looks.
