210 E55 kills a new 645 convertible today
I pulled up next to a brand new 645 BMW convertible at a stop light. He and his hottie had the top down and I told him nice car man, he nodded like a celebrity with his shades on...so I said Mercedes owners don't like BMW's.
He left the light slowly and from a ten mile an hour roll he nailed it and got a bit of a jump on me but I nailed my E55 and started pulling on him, got in front by a car or so and let off about 75. We were in a light traffic 35mph zone so since I was ahead I did not want to push it. At the next light he said mines new I let off; so I said when your BMW grows up it will be an E55 and l turned off.
I don't think he let off I think he was not thrilled that he lost his first race in his new spendy 645. I know I beat him but am curious... should a 210 series E55 whip a new 645 BMW convertible?

Of course it should.
It's more powerful, it has more torque, bigger engine and it's lighter.
I'd say that strong 210 E55 should be neck and neck with M6 in street race like that.

The W210 should beat the 645 Convertible in every speed catagory, the 650 Coupe will give the W210 a good run.

Unless your 210 has the words Kleemann on its rear, would not have a chance.
M6
7spd,
lighter
and 500hp
As noted from a member that has a 211 and M5... the 7sps from a roll does wonders for the lack of torque.
