Anyone have a chance to go against the Aston with their E55?

Shouldn't be much of a race. Got to play with one on the way to the last Rosebowl meet in the GF's SLK55. Never ran from a stop, but getting out of traffic he gets a big jump and the SLK reeled him in slowly until I got out of it at 100+.

how do you like it Absent? Did you think of the Vantage? I thought of it for a short while but thought it was underpowered and overpriced. For that money I'd get the TT. I hear they will be coming out with a higher powered vantage?

You answered yourself the "Vantage" question.
I love the DB styling ,noise and "life is good " feeling when driving it.
Traded M5 for it and miss that car dearly ,it would just chew the Aston to pieces.
I'm a little disappointed with the chassis flex,expected the car to be more solid,in the meantime I truly enjoy myself,especially with the knowledge that the car goes back to my dealer at the end of Summer(pre trade for 599).

Wow, can you post pics of the 599 when you got it?

I think for the price of the Vantage, 911 TT would be a much better choice.
