License Plate Bracket
Ok, so there really is no such thing as a "cool" license plate bracket, but unfortunately, I'm stuck putting a front plate on my car here in MA. Does anyone know a site where I can buy a decent looking license plate bracket (maybe something with AMG on it or something...I don't know...)?

Ya front plates look awful. I've seen a couple of guys out here in California completely trim their plates so that only the numbers are left. Whether or not its legal I don't know, but they look pretty close to a euro plate and far better than a standard , huge , ugly one.

You can get them at a dealer.
Here is a listing for $35:

Are you getting a radar detector installed? Want to see if we can get a deal on 2 of them? I use the place in West Roxbury/Dedham off Route 1.
I am consider the K40 Bluetooth Calibre front only radar detector, laser detector/defuser, which lists for $900 (rear only -- I don't understand the need for the rear facing detector, which basically tells you you've been zapped, or tells you nothing if you've been clocked).

It's the car, not the plates.
I honestly don't thin this is the most estethically beautiful car in the world, or close to it, so I therefore can't obsess over front plates.
Yes, I love my car; I think it's a great car, with great performance, pretty good comfort features, and a decent design...so front plates fall way low on the totem pole, for me.

Do they then charge you with treason?

Usually the inspection guys are cool here. I don't even have a front plate or plate holders or holes at all, I just slip them a 20.

Stupid State law that is. Technically, you can't drive the car without the proper inspection sticker on your car. It's kind of stupid, but I have to zip tie my front plates on to pass the test and then cut them off.
