Why not go Evosport rotors so you mantain the brake bias balance as OEM? Brembo has 2 - 3 calipers for ALL their applications, they don't adjust piston size to accomodate the application be it brake bias or the vehicles master cylinder potential.
BTW - if I remember right, your AMG calipers are rebranded Brembo calipers anyways -- just mated properly to your car.
Evosport Rotors --
Designed as a direct brake disc replacement for the OE E/CLS/S/CL55 AMG brake discs on all four corners (No modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE AMG brake calipers). Not only will the upgraded multi-piece "floating" discs help mitigate brake fade, but are lighter than stock and reduce unsprung weight by a total of 34lbs. on all four corners! This means better acceleration, braking and cornering. In addition, you get to maintain the AMG calipers without going to a more expensive solution that requires replacing them. Available drilled or slotted or slotted.
The calipers that are on our car are HEAVY and are made of cast iron. I think the Brembo calipers are actually made out of light weight aluminum. I've considered going the Evosport route, but I just want to exhaust all possbility to shave off weight before I pull the trigger.
