I went to talk with the head shop foreman of my local delaership (which is quite large). The foreman said the steering rack can be tightened up a bit which will help correct the shimmy and also tightens up the play in the steering wheel. A guy on the W211 section mentioned his dealership did the exact same thing on his 06 E350 and the problem disappeared completey. The foreman I spoke with also said they would balance all 4 tires on a Hunter GSP 9700 just to be certain; this guy is great to work with and really knows his stuff.
