hey, i'm looking for a good cell phone cradle for a Palm treo to put in the E ...any suggestions.......of course it has to look half decent

I'm pretty sure that there isn't an available cradle for the treo. You can go Bluetooth and it will work, maybe try a company called AWS ( Auto Wireless Solutions), they are now handling MB's phone issues and will be able to sort you out.

How do you get the bluetooth to work with the phone ? ... the Command BT connection recognises my phone - but thats where it all ends...? I have the car mobile prewired - but cannot find an MB cradle for my phone ...

Any help please?

I'm assuming you have the bluetooth puck from MB? It is mounted where the cradle would be and looks like a silver hair clipper.

Mmm does this plug into a frame that takes various phone cradles or is this hard wired?

It plugs (slides) into the little hardwired clip that the cradle plugs into. IIRC the Bluetooth puck is around $300.00 from the dealer and simple plug and play.
