E63 Composite rotors for E55?
Hi Guys ...

Anyone know the dimensions of the 63's front brake rotors (composites) ... would be a lurvly upgrade to the 55 brakes...

Also are calipers the same ... is it a straight swap out ?

E63 brakes
The E63 has 14.0 inch composite rotors with 6 piston calipers up front. Whether it is an easy swap or not remains to be seen.

I think it's metal.

Even the SL65 AMG composite disc are just 2-piece rotors, not ceramics

Mmm sounds like a good alternative ... although based in UK shipping those heavy parts could be a killer and they are not cheap as it is ... checking if Brembo offer upgrade rotors .. they got a pretty handy Gran Tourismo upgrade kit - but I would like to retain the OEM calipers.

By definition it is a swap because you can keep swapping parts till it is perfect.
