just bought 2005/w211. any suggestions on keeping original upright start badge versus placing flat bage on hood? also besides the conti contact II, what else is good to run on the Beast? do all of you use your e55 as daily commute or just garage for wknd and sport-curious how many miles these engines will go if taken care of properly & average miles you daily drivers putting on. sorry for all the questions, but new and curious-glad to be part of the klub here. thanks.

 

OK, personally I like the Star on the hood. I think many change it to the flat badge. As for tires, Michelin PS2's are what most seem to use. I use my E55 daily (can't get enough of it! ablut 15K/yr) for fun/sport i'll take out my M3.
