I agree. We should eliminate the DEA and just let the dealers do their thing. I mean, this is, after all, capitalism. Isn't arresting drug dealers a violation of free market principles?

If there were drugs involved, I'm sure either DEA or SDPD will sieze the car and sell it at auction for whatever it will command.

It seems like the spokesperson is trying to play off the DEA's involvement. He said the only involvement from DEA was them "witnessing" the crash. Witnesses who saw the pursuit and crash have said otherwise.
