2002 E55
I'm 30..can't believe so many E55 owners are less than 24 years old. I wasn't even thinking about E55s at that age...But if I had the bread back then I guess I'd be mashin one too!

44 and going strong.
Purchased my 1st high-line car at 31, It was a 300SL manual (wish I still had that one) followed by a Range Rover, MB S500, Porsche C2 cab., Porsche 996 twin turbo, Porsche C2 cab (again), BMW M3, BMW 540i, BMW M5 and last but not least my latest 2006 MB E55! I'm sure in the last 13 years I've owned more then what I listed but I can't remember any others now.
Purchased them all myself. No inheritance (although one would have been nice) just made a nice living and driving a solid car has always been important.
As an aside, if money got tight tomorrow, and you only could spend around 35,000 on a new car, what would it be? I need to drive a driver's car but I suppose that doesn't necessarily mean that it needs to be a 100K car. I think that I would probably get a mini turboS convertible. That would probably leave me enough extra cash to mod it up a little. Any other ideas?

Midlife is 45+, but it really depends on what you look like and how you act.
Midlife crisis cars/bikes are usually convertibles/harleys. For whatever reason:
I've seen a lot of fat, and/or bald midlife males in convertibles corvettes.
I've seen a lot of fat, midlife males on Harleys also.
Seems like when you get older you buy stuff to get attention. Maybe they miss the attention they got while in their prime.

Wow I'm amazed that there are so many people in their 20's who drive E55's. Definitelly wish I could be able to do that on my own in the future. Currently 19...
