Does anyone have any diagrams of the stock under-blower intercooler on our cars?? I also need the dimensions of the valley underneath it that the "cooled" air escapes to. I'm investigating the possibility of making a higher-efficiency aftermarket piece out of a Spearco core, but I don't want to tear my car appart and have it sitting for a month so I can get the measurements I need.

Also, does anyone know what the pressure drop across our stock IC is??

I think the problems would be the bumper. Cleaning my car the other day I noticed how much space was there. You need to measure not only the IC but how much space you would have available to mount it

Actually, I was talking about the intercooler itself, not the heat exchanger behind the bumper. I already got a bunch of measurements on that. I just don't want to pull my supercharger off to measure the intercooler core underneath it.

 

Looking at the Bin Sulayem (?) E55 with SLR motor, anything is possible if you are willing to cut a little bit of the car up.
