Anyone having Ethanol/gas problems?

We recently switched from gas/MTBE blend in Texas to gas/ethanol and now my car is hard to start. Spits, sputters and sometimes fails to start altogether after a "hot soak". MB says the fuel system is tight and no problems. Maybe the gas is vaoprizing in the fuel rail. Second attempt and the car starts right up. Anyone else experience this problem?

I think the owners manual for the '03 CL55 warns specifically against 85/15 gas, and mentions ethanol by name.

I am also having cold start problems with my car with this new corn juice in our stations up here in MA.

I don't drive a MB but alot of us with M3's are having the same exact problems as you descibed.

Ethanol has a lower vapor pressure than gasoline, which contributes to cold starting problems.

Wonder if the fuel boils in the fuel rail after it sits. I notice if I turn on the key and allow the car to prime the system it starts right up. MB says the system holds pressure - no leaks.
