Headrest TV screens in UK ?
Where can I have this done to my car in the UK ? I remember there was a crowd here who advertised at the motor shows - but I lost the info !!!

Thanks I will check them out ... the other crowd I eventually found on google ... veba.co.uk ... looks good but pricey.

I would definitely take a look at Braybrooks...I say this because they are an independent audio seller/installer...and this would mean you would have a wider selection of products to choose from......I would go Alpine personally.
....I believe veba is a manufacturer so you would be stuck with there products??

I have had my beast about a year and a half....and enjoyed every minute!!!

I have done a few mods and I have a kleeman k1 happening this week!!!yipeee!!

btw...I recall you were thinking of an ecu remap?....how did that unfold??

Yep the remap was going to be done with my friend who has a SL55 - but he pulled the plug last minute - we were going to get a bit of a discount doing 2 cars at one venue, so waiting for my friend to get his ducks in a row now...
The main thing about the screen is the frame attaching to the centre console is tacky plastic and the spring loaded mechanism creaks all the time - very annoying. Also it is quite an obstruction for my wife to reach into the back to attend to a 15 month old spilling toys all over the place.
Picture is not great either ... and the manner in which you activate the screens input is rediculous ... you can only use the remote. So to get the screen on DVD for my son to watch you have to do gymnastics to see that the screen is on and select the appropiate input with the remote - absurb - you should be able to manage the functionality of this screen from the front command unit. If anyone knows how please let me know!.
Yep I looked at Kleemann but the chap there was not the most helpfull, so I have been talking to DMS who are super enthusiastic, and seem to know what they are doing. Since car has just been run in - I am not going to mod heavily for now ... also I will check out the E63 to see whats up there and then decide if I keep the E55 , go E63 or wait for the W212 6.3TT in '09.
