Question on my E63 Order ??????
Just a quick quesstion guys!
Need some advice.. Ordering E63 tomorrow but need some reassurance
Someone told me that shape of E-Class is changing soon...
Is that true or is it safe to order E63..
I know face lift happened but change in Shape completely????
Should i go for the order or not.. What do i DOOO??

Will they build the W211 for 6 or 7 years? If they run the W211 chassis for 7 years like the W220 S-Class it will not change until model year 2010.

I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and thought about the same thing as well. The reason I went ahead with mine is that i love the current E class body. Even the previous E class is great. Odds are that the next model will be a good one but what if they pull a 5 series BMW design? I was going to get an M5 and had my heart set on it. My brother has the Previous M5 model and it is still gorgeous. I cannot stomach the new one and have 'defected' to MB. All I'm saying is that there are no guarantees on design these days. If you love the shape, go for it, I did and am very excited about my upcoming E63. Just my opinion.

Order it with the P2 option package. It's a good value for an extra $3900 bucks.
I just put my name on one for an August/Sept build. My E55 was hit last week and even if I can't get it totaled by the insurance company, I'm going to get rid of it for a three year lease on an E63.
Once my lease is up, the new E class should be rolling off the assembly line. Hopefully it won't look like BMW's redesign on the 5 series.

In all likelyhood the W211 will not see a TT version so don't fret about that. That said, I leased my 2005 in March timing the 39 month lease with the release of the next generation E - which should be some time in mid to late 2008 as a 2009 model.

I dont see the point in going from E55 to E63 when the W212 is out in 08/09.... with a 6.3TT (around 575 Hp - and moddable).
The new W212 will be a beauty if the new SClass is anything to go by, and they are really upping the ante in terms of reliability and quality again.
Also BMW is going back to their "Old school" design in the new upcoming 7 series, and this will trickle down the line for sure... so see some decent bimmers out in the near future - oh and they will have turbo's too....
Let the uber saloon wars continue !

Anyone know the prices for anything on the E63 as of yet. Some of us 'fools', myself included already ordered the darn thing and know nothing of the price. From what I keep seeing in the Mags so far, the price should be very close to the E55. Any confirmation on such and prices for the option packages? MBUSA sucks, they are releasing the car this month to go on sale and don't even have anything on their website.
By the way, I keep hearing all this talk about a 6.3 TT in the near future. Are we sure this will come to the E? Mercedes seems to keep it's big guns for the top of the line cars. Has there been a REPUTABLE announcement or lots of speculation? Guess if that's the case the V12 TT will be up above 700HP.

In talking with my salesperson, he tells me an MSRP of about $83,000 Base.
But then I've heard that song before too when I was waiting for my 55. Originally it was going to retail for $73,000. But by the time final pricing arrived, it went to $76K.
83K to 86K should be pretty close. Also the value of the dollar vs. Euro has some say in it.

The only statements made were that two TT versions of the 6.2 were under development. The fact that the N/A 6.2L wasn't dropped in the SL leads most to believe that one or both of these TT's will debut in MB's flagship roadster. My best guess would be that next E-CLASS gets a TT version of the new 5.4L that debuted in the S550, and that the two TT 6.2's power the SL69 and SL73 respectively. After all, MB has already copy-righted both brand names.
