No 19" drag radials by anyone, anywhere.
Two possibilities for similar compounds were the Pirelli asym / directional tires, but they come in a 35% profile only in the 285/19 size. The other is the Pilot Sport Cups, much softer compound... but in 19's they only had 265/30/19... I have two of these tires and I'm going to try them out just to see if the they are actually better than my larger 285 PS2s given their much better compound.
And as I was holding my breath for a 285 Sport Cup, bam, they skipped the size entirely and just introduced a 305/30/19 Sport Cup. #$@#$!@# !!!!!!
Bummer. So, I'm going to throw on the 265/30s and see if these undersized little things make up for it with tenacious grip. Otherwise, I'm going to do what everyone else does and go back to 18s or have a 2nd set of 18s laying about. But I'm not tracking the car... I'm just looking for streetable DRs / ultra soft compounds so I can get this darn thing to hook up more frequently!!!!!

Yeah, but the size is going to be very limited, and you are deffinitely not going to want to use them driving around town or on the hwy, @ $350 a pop.

But how cool would that 345 look on an E55 if you could stuff it in there!
Really, I don't care who make them as long as they are an improvement over my PS2's. I also am much less concerned about wear than the average person I guess. If I could get the power to ground effectively, paying $1200 for 4 tires more frequently would be welcomed. I'm just crazy like that.
Thanks Ted for the heads up... let me know what you hear! I called Michelin about PS Cups in 285/30/19 and they said no plans to offer it in the future.

..............I called the marketing dept at BFG. The guy had no info on a 19 inch drag radial. I don't know if he just doesn't knowor if BFG truly does not have any plans for a 19 inch drag radial. Probably the later.
