ESP Question, Any Info?

Why is it that when I have my ESP off (light on dash off) it is harder for me to break the tires loose.

When I push the button to turn it on (light on dash on) it breaks loose like a son of a gun when given enough throttle. any info as to why this happens?

The ESP defaults to on position when you start your vehicle (dash light off). Once the ESP detects wheel spin (dash light on), it applies braking to the spinning wheel, and retards the timing until optimum traction is achieved (dash light off). If you turn your ESP off (dash light on), your wheels will spin without traction control, and your timing will allow WOT (wide open throttle) without retardation.

You have the other way around. Light on = ESP off, Light off= ESP on
