What causes that hesitation/lurch/engagement etc at light/moderate throttle and from a stop @ around 1800 rpm??? Is it the S/C, the transmission or the torque converter? If you're very gentle with the throttle it's not there, or if you're heavy on the throttle it's not there, but only at moderate to light throttle.
I've done a search and it appears it's the torque converter locking up but why does it have to be like this? My CLK 500'd never displayed this trait?
Thanks

First time I drove the car i thought it was a transmission problem. Until thanks to this forum i realised it was the supercharger clutch. It did get better with the ecu upgrade. It was kind of annoying especially with passengers in the car.
Now when i drive around at light throttle i put the transmission in comfort mode which helps also.
