Is it just me or do the E55's not have a spare tire in the trunk? I just looked under the trunk liner for the first time today and realized there was nothing there except a cut out compartment and a tool kit.

 

Mine has one that is a full sized rim and a tire that is deflated and compact. It also comes with an air compressor to inflate the spare. The compressor plugs into a cigarette lighter style outlet on the driver side of the trunk compartment. At least that is how mine is set up. FYI.

 

They added the spare in late 04's. Early 04's and 03's don't have a spare.
