ecu pulley owners, please read

so, quick question. what would I potentially gain (or lose) if I did say just a pulley, but no ECU?? Is it worth it, and is it safe?

thanks
Harris

Some people say...pullies alone make more power then ECU upghrade and that stock ECU can compensate for increased boost...

I thinking of trying this as well...

honduh, bimmer, bEnz, ferrari and etc
i would think a simple swap of pulley already adds HP.

I don't have the 55k motor,

but a simple pulley alone will add more power than the ECU alone...

I have been running with EVOsport pullies for 6 months and no problems so far. Except for 3 speeding tickets

There is more power everywhere, but more noticeable on top.

Pulley for our cars adds 25 to 30 RWHP alone.

A pulley alone would add somewhere in the range of 30-40 HP w/o an ECU update. Since a pulley increases airflow, you run the risk of a lean condition when using the WOT fuel maps. But the risk is probably small since this car tends to run rich at WOT, especially upper RPMs. A post-pulley dyno pull to verify the A/F ratio would be prudent.

Been told that ASP pullies along add around 45 HP at the wheels...

This is the routes I am choosing but I also have the Kleemann Style headers...

What do you think if add headers as well with stock ECU ???

I know with Kleemann ECU the car will run even better but I am not ready for it NOW...

Should install jsut the pullies 1st and only add Headers along with ECU upgrade or ???
