06' E55

E63 steering wheel

How hard do you think it would be to replace a 06' E55 steering wheel with the new E63 wheel with the paddel shifters?

I read on the SL55 forum that the plugs/connectors do not match up from the 06 to the 07 design, they also stated the paddles are not currently being sold seperately from the wheel. Hope this helps

I am not a fan of those paddles since I have "happy" hands when I autoX, but I thought somebody was coming out with aftermarket paddles for the '06 wheel. As for the "other" design, I think the CLS55 has that style (SL/CLK style buttons) and there are lots of pics on the net of E55s with them on.

I have no clue if anyone was modifying the connectors or not.
