What all could it be? is it covered under warranty? Should I just go buy a bulb? I know nothing about these.

iirc, a typical hid bulb should last 2500hrs...much more i'm sure than you have on your vehicle. i would take it to mb to make sure it is in fact the bulb and even if it is, firmly request them to replace it even if it's not covered under warranty cause those bulbs will run around $100 each. just my $.02

Could be a bad ballast or a burnt bulb and both should be covered under warranty. If it is a burnt out bulb...see if you could have the dealer replace both of the bulbs so that the colors match when lit. HID bulbs color shift (go from whitish/yellowish color to a more purplish/bluish tinge) the longer you use them.

Take it to the stealership and they will fix it for you. It should still be under warranty!
