The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Hate to tell you, AMG doesn't go backwards. At least it hasn't in recent history.
Maybe in the minds of some current E55 owners when it comes to the E63, but that's about it.
BeNzTeK......I don't talk **** about what cars I can beat, thanks.

Conceptually BMW, AMG, AND Pcars have gone backwards ever since these groups were brought in-house. Has the performance typically increased from generation to generation? Yes, but the extreme attitude has DROPPED Big time.
Look back in history. First generation M3 / 2.3-16 / 944s
The M3 was literally hand made and extreme as compared to the 3 series. Shorter wheelbase and 50/50 weight was a first. The 2.3-16 was also a monster as compared to any 190 of its day.
The new M3 can be all you wanna call it, but it simply doesn't handle as well as the super cars do and the old M3 did. Actually, it also held the record for most HP/liter when it came out. The new M3 is trully a modded up 330ci.
Now, to give our cars the same scrutiny. Don't forget that all this hooplah began with the AMG Hammer, which was made by AMG WITH the help of Porsche. Extremely rare and unique car for the day.
Since those days, the AMGs, Ms, and even 911TTs have all been diluted to simple marketing. Face facts, that is how it is.

Does anyone know if the E63 has the same size rotors? By the look of it, they come with 2-piece, slotted, light-weight rotors. If they fit, I'm going to be pissed that I bought the EVOSport ones.
