unfortunately, mine is reality.are you going to answer my question about the compression/boost?
Come on guys. I have a couple Benz's under the stable, its all good. I didnt put down the E55, just the story. Apparently most of you guys run into new M5's everyday. I dont read the bmw forums with guys racing a E55 everyday.

Stock Compression, 10.5psi + 50 shot Nitrous. I just changed my injectors and went to a 100 shot, 600whp coming soon.

Not much different from any other forum except for the cars that one kills. The M5 board is similar to this except they claim kills on our cars
I agree to an extent. I dont think its as bad as it is over here.

That's one ugly M3 you've got yourself there!
lol thanks.

haha!!!! u must be kiding! I'd take it over e55 m5 or e63!!! You defenetly dont know what r u talking about or never driven m3s! Sweeeeeeeet!
Thanks buddy.

come on bo, i wouldn't go that far. Has it been verified as 563rwhp or is it just claimed? seems a shame to turbo/supercharge the hell out of a high revving NA unit. If i was gonna do that i'd sooner have an r34 skyline
Car made 563rwhp on a dynojet with heavy rollers, K2 E55 made like 431rwhp on the same dyno. My car is SC'd and it drives like it was before with a 8000rpm and same powerband just better.

With a conservative 15% drivetrain loss you are talking about a 663 crank hp M3?
That is correct sir. Currently the highest HP verifiable E46 M3.

Taz, you are too funny. Why are you on this forum if you don't appreciate the Merc. cars............Oh!!! I forgot, they booted you from the BMW forum.

The good news is that most M5s run the 1/4 mile in 12.7-13.1. The bad news is that many stock E55 run 11.9-12.3.

Bolt on a couple of mods to the E55 and run 11.3-11.8 @ 121-123.

I know................. you have the greatest M3 ever and BMW rules.
I know! I was booted from the shadiest BMW forum there is. Im still on all the rest and have had no trouble on them.

I just heard a stock M5 ran a 11.5 in Miami. Ill try to get the facts, but thats what i heard. You do realize more E55's have been to the track thus its hard to compare 100 E55 track days to 10 M5 track days.

Yes car has nitrous, it takes it very well and i use it quite often. Motor is stock. I made 503rwhp without nitrous.

READ THE CHART

To the guys that no their stuff, they tailsniffer is off by .5ish, my car never goes higher then 12.8 inside AFR gauge. I just put in larger injectors and a bigger shot of nitrous. Im looking to break 600whp, i could have done so on another dynojet but i choose not to fool myself.

didn't realize you could run that much boost w/stock compression.my friends active autowerks set-up only runs 7 lbs;they told him that was the limit;maybe they are just protecting themselves.i've been impressed w/their turbo set-ups on the e36 m3;not so sure about the supercharged ones though.

LOL, nice story.

Keep a few things in mind, guys. If all you want is a fine slutty type next to you, then use the E. You think a gold digger won't jump right in? Being impressed that he had a hotty on his side is silly. You'll learn as you get older.

To the M3 dude (and O Canada!!): Mke any claims you want and I am not into the BS calling. Kinda funny how Vic knew the truth, though. You want to prove stuff here, show us a time slip?? The reason why you don't hear this stuff on the M5 boards is that there are No kills of the E55 happenning!! Haha!! The street kills are popping up left and right and all you can do is sit there and say the M5 wins on the track. WHICH TRACK?? This ain't yo momma's BMW. It is their version of the E and it just isn't what a bimmer is all about. when was the last time that the Bimmer had the added cylinders? they are always the ones that stayed performance minded and that left when they attempted to gain torque (V10). When all you do is make airplane engines, its really hard to all of a sudden shift and start making motors that pull hard.

Vic knew what? That i have Nitrous, oh big deal, anyone looking at the dynograph can notice that. I still broke 500whp with my stock 3.2 just on boost, on a conservative dyno. My nitrous bottle is always filled and its setup permanently in a safe way. I use it alot.

The M5 is still new, ive only got the chance to run one. I dont see how you guys can find so many to race. Wait for it to be out longer, you guys have had years for track days and numbers. Show me the street kill proof! The track a few numbers have risen, theres prob been a couple M5's at the track comparing it to hundreds of E55's.

They didnt attempt to make TQ. The M engines are built specifically for high revving HP. They didnt slap on a SC like AMG's.

So now you argue about BMW doesnt know how to make engines!!!! You seriously dont know much. Since when was MBZ supposed to make performance cars? Do you know the histroy of the BMW Motorsport division? Adding a SC on a car doesnt make it the greatest thing in the world.

Proof of M5 kill ? Show us proof that a stock M5 ran 11.5 ...?

I just dont see how - LC just does not alow for it... and it does not have enuf power to overcome this...

Ask DerekFSU who has both cars and after many trips to the track the M5 did not come close... but hauled a$$ above 100mph - but we all know this !!!

I really am not biased in my view of either car. I appreciate the M5 for what it is - and I think everyone on this board recognises its awesome. I just prefer monster torque of the E55 thanks and the character of the S/C motor. Thats why I wont get the E63 either ... but a test drive will confirm this later in the year...

yeah sure...any guy is going to remember the girls they've dated long past the races they've lost.

are you calling her a **** for any particular reason...except the fact that she wasn't with you??? being impressed and simply pointing out the facts are two different things. but admittedly, i'm certainly more impressed with a good woman than a good car and there's nothing silly about it...unless of course you've never had the former.

bro, were you in the truck with me when this happened?let me point out the facts to you.1.) you weren't there 2.) i only stated that the girl was fine,no one said they were dating.3.)no one really cares nor asked for your analysis of my story 4.) once again,it was my story and told for entertainment not for analysis.5.) not necessarily a fact but appears that you probably haven't been in many exciting races during your life.on the other hand i've been in many and some that i will remember more so than a few girls i'd like to forget, and by the way these girls i speak of were fine as well.they just turned out to be f...ing nightmares!

whoa...sorry dude, i had no idea beating an m5 was that important to you. i guess i should have had a clue since you were immature enough to go out of your way rub the guys face in it. i certainly meant no offense and had no idea you would get so defensive regarding an honest opinion in an open forum. regardless, my point about comparing a good woman to a good car still applies and doens't become invalid simply because you don't like it or have never experienced it.

have a nice day and kudos to you on your m5 kill.

+1

Killing m5 on street is very old now, now if you would kill it on the track then it would be somthing to brag about. Its the same as M5 owners say oh i met this E55 on autobahn and from 100km/h till 250 i gained 35 cars on it....

P.s have you ever driven m5? I think its still deserves much respect as out AMG cars.

i would hardly call that rubbing it in his face.once again, you don't think before you type.let me remind you that you weren't there and it isn't always what you say but more importantly how you say it,being "mature" as you claim you should know this by now.regardless, the post was about a story not your opinion.your entire response is ridiculous and way off topic!as far as your last statement ,you already used that one.and i'm sure so many people must envy your "experiences",not everyone marries their first "piece of ***".wait ,that's not right. i don't even know you or anything about you, i should think before i type.kind of reminds you of yourself doesn't it.

ok,you want to talk smack as well.first,it's not anywhere near the same as a 35 car delusion.2-3 cars was the reality.no,i haven't driven an e60 m5 but i do respect them; just dissappointed in how they performed. killing an m5 on the street will never get old, have you ever raced an m5?probably not,it would be kind of pointless in your ml350!

if you don't want people to comment then don't post on an open public forum.

no i wasn't there, but if i was i would have been embarrassed by your behavior and probably apologized to the guy, promising him that all e55 owners are not jerks.

to avoid taking up any more of the forums space please pm me if you have anything else to say.

yes, i've spent some time in both the old and new m5. the new m5 is an awesome car and does many things better than our beloved e55's, but the 1/4 mile isn't one of them.

Funny story...My baby is home

I raced ML63 last night and 420HP STI...

Well ML is very fast...beats even 550HP Cayennes...He floored 1st, got little jump then I catch up and pulled away...

STI was very faast, of the line HE would go WOT, droped the clutch and would pull very hard, then I would catch up with him...2 times he won, 2 times I did...

Its not that hard to lunch E55, M5 was harder, Yokos Advan grip much better then PS2's...

This is just the start, tonignt is RS vs AMG vs M competiotion in 1/4

you said that an ml63 had walked all over an m3 in an earlier post, that's awesome.i almost considered getting one (ml63) because i previously had an ml55 and it was great beating mustangs etc. up to 50-60mph.i like the new suspension on the ml63 and the interior, the ml55 suspension was horrible and caused me to trade it for a x5 4.6 which was one of my most pleasurable vehicles i've driven.not too crazy about the ml63 exterior though ;a bit overdone imo and looks too much like the kia suv.

Yes ML 63 destroyed M3 and even Cayennes TURBO S...
