Drag times

I went to Firebird Raceway here in Chandler Arizona Friday night and the average temperature was 91 degrees, humidity around 25%. The car was running good overall, however I did seem to have a traction problem as I often do at this particular track getting off the line. Even with ESP on the car would have excessive spin. Anyway I was running consistant 13 sec runs with at trap speed of 107mph. My low time was a 12.9 and the high was 13.1, with a total of 12 passses. Here is my question, does this seem slow to you? When it is cooler out in runs below 12.5 always with trap speeds in the 113-114mph area. I just want to make sure it is the heat and not the ECU recall that is causing my beast to run slower than usual. Any thoughts?

I ran mid 12.20's with my car when it was in the 90's. I would say something is wrong if that's all the mph and ET that you could get out of the car.

i had a similar experience, car ran 12.6@113 then w/higher temperatures i was running 12.8 -13.0 @108-109 mph just figured it was the heat but never really found out .however, since that time i've had many races and it never was noticed again.i need to track the car again in the future.

Are the times you are quoting pre K1 or post? My car is bone stock. Also in previous runs at another track and once in awhile at Firebird my 60' times are around 1.8 sec. Friday night the track was so slick that they were all around 2.0+ sec. This obviously accounts for some of the slower times but they still seem high to me. I would have expected around 12.5-12.8 at maybe 110 mph?

What mods do you have?
Have you dynoed your car?

I don't have any mods. Bone stock and yes I have dynoed the car early on though and it was strong. Mid 490's HP at crank.
