How will these SL rims look on a W211
Thoughts?
18 X 8.5" FRONT, 18 X 9.5" REAR, MERCEDES SL SPORT WHEEL PACKAGE. (SL500)
245/40/18 FRONT (75% TREAD) AND 275/35/18 REAR (70% TREAD)
here is a pic of my car as it sits now: I plan to lower it a bit after I get new rims...

With the CDI and Kleemann Combo what kind of torque are you getting out of that monster?
Love the Hayabusa. That thing is insane. Bought a Harley to try something different but now up for sale so I can pick up a ZX10R.

However, they might stick outside the fender because the R230 SL has a different wheel offset than the W211 E.
Also, the proper rear tire size that maintains the stock rolling diameter is a 265/35-18, not a 275. 275/35-18 and 265/35-18 is about .25" difference in overall diameter.
I don't know if it'll throw anything off substantially, but i always like to stay as close to factory parameters as possible.
But again, i'd be concerned about the wheel offsets.
