How will these SL rims look on a W211

I wanted to get your feedback besides just the E-class forum. Ive never seen them on a w211 so I am not sure what to think. I am kinda uneasy, as they will look diffrent. On the other hand, I kinda like the idea that my car being diffrent.

Thoughts?

18 X 8.5" FRONT, 18 X 9.5" REAR, MERCEDES SL SPORT WHEEL PACKAGE. (SL500)
245/40/18 FRONT (75% TREAD) AND 275/35/18 REAR (70% TREAD)

here is a pic of my car as it sits now: I plan to lower it a bit after I get new rims...

I am sure they will look good. find someone to p-shop them on. Will add a dif look. You may want to lower it also to really tuck them in and give it the aggressive look.

With the CDI and Kleemann Combo what kind of torque are you getting out of that monster?

Love the Hayabusa. That thing is insane. Bought a Harley to try something different but now up for sale so I can pick up a ZX10R.

I think they'll look ok. Just comes down to preference.

However, they might stick outside the fender because the R230 SL has a different wheel offset than the W211 E.

Also, the proper rear tire size that maintains the stock rolling diameter is a 265/35-18, not a 275. 275/35-18 and 265/35-18 is about .25" difference in overall diameter.

I don't know if it'll throw anything off substantially, but i always like to stay as close to factory parameters as possible.

But again, i'd be concerned about the wheel offsets.
