Dyno Mode and Torque Management Software
I know this is beating a dead horse but I'm still trying to negate the effects of the torque management software. The feel of the car just isn't the same.
Does anyone know if putting the car in Dyno mode negate these software changes? I know that it gets rid of the ESP but will it also get rid of the engine management which obviously is backing down on the advance when a specific torque value is reached.
I guess my question is does torque management occur thru the ecu engine mapping or thru the ESP programming, wheel slip monitoring route?

Hmm, good question. I just assumed it was ECU, since you can advance the timing that way, but now you raise the issue of where a trigger to retard it comes form, right? If so, we may need an ECU mod AND something else. I was just planning on an advancement and thought that would do it, but not if the ESP tells it to shut off at some point.
