Why was the dealer anxious to sell it originally? This is a high demand car.

You made a smart deal on those wheels, they list for about 9k for all 4. Obviously you can get them a bit cheaper but the composite 65 wheels are awesome. Oh, nice wagon too!

My experience is that you will never see a US dealer order one for inventory on the lot -- pretty much customer-order only.

Beautiful wagon...if I didn't have my S550, I would definitely consider the E55. Had 3 wagons...burgundy, white and black and loved the black one to death. Just a great looking package!
