e63 style rear spoiler
just a heads-up for those of you that like the new style as much as i did.
i bought my e63 style spoiler a month ago. as i discovered on this forum a while back, schatz is the original designer of this style spoiler. i'm sure there are some minor differences but it's certainly hard to tell from any pics i've seen. performance products is the only u.s. distributor that i know of but you can order it directly from schatz germany for about 1/2 of pp's price and about 1/3 of the mb price ($158+s/h). for some reason pp is backordered on the spoiler but it is readily available from schatz.
i just got around to having it painted and should have it installed by next week. it's quality appears to be as good as any other and dry fitment looked nice. i'll know for sure after final installation and can post pics then if there's any interest.

I know the styles are similar, but are you sure the AMG one is the same? I don't mean looks, I mean same manufacterer? I know that with the 3 piece MB ones, you can also get knock offs, but they are NOWHERE near the quality of the MB part. i learned the hard way by paying for one and then paying again for the MB one. Spending $100K on a car and then compromising for a $100 is not always a good thought.
