Carbon Fiber Add on Lip W211
We have painted many CF lips and other carbon fiber parts. There would be no problems at all painting over CF. A good shop will sand it down and its just like painting over fiberglass.
I will tell you up front that even if we did have a diffuser there is no way we can do $600 for both. The lip will be about that much, it will be priced like all our other lips from $599-$649. If I made our parts ****ty quality I can do both for about $400. The lip that you see in the other thread would never be something I would attempt to make unless I was building parts for Hondas. That seam in the middle of the lip would be totally unacceptable for me to sell. There may be cheaper then us, but I would only make and sell a part I would use on my own vehicle. I would never want a cheap looking part stuck on my 100k car. I would rather spend about $200 more and have a quality part. All other people who bought our lips in the past for other cars have loved the quality. Just like cheap wheels make a car look like ****, a lip would do the same of not worse since it is attached to an already beautiful body. If you want a quality looking part ours will be available. It will still cost less then similar fiberglass lips from Carlsson or Brabus and ours of course is in carbon fiber.
