I didn't by the 350 or 500 because the AMG is an overall better car. Interior, exterior, suspension etc.
Also I don't mean to say that there is NO point to have 500+ HP, just that I don't actually get to use it very often in my daily commute. And on the occasions that I do get to push the car on a open road, the current setup is more than enough to get my heart rate up.
I would have to say your are correct about the supercharger as well. If I was not going to track the car, there would be no point to that either.
