where was all this info 3 weeks ago when i was askin where to get the green or k&ns no one told me to stay away from the greens.

I HAD the K & N's but while washing one day i noticed the little screen was comming apart!! others in the baord have had the same problem, so check the k & n's closely because they have issues also, i went back to stock.

I never said anything about the Greens because I had no direct experience with them; only 2nd hand info...
I said many months ago that if someone is looking for a cotton filter to use the BMC filters (they have a good rep in the racing industry).
Unfortunately, the info on the greens only came to light when people ran them for a while and checked them and noticed they had collapsed much like what happened to me with the ITG filter I tried.
Not sure.. I got their name off the BMC website. It must be the same company.. Contact them and see if they are a BMC distributor..

I had the same problem. I called Green and they took care of me. Had my filter the next day and they paid shipping back of the old one. The new filter had a higher density mold, def stronger. Twenty thousand miles later I check it everyweek and its like the car... PERFECT. Good company, took care of me, even got a hat out of the deal..haha. Just had a bad run I guess. Green is an awesome company that will get my business again. Call them up, they'll take care of it.

My green filter in my ML55 fits super snug and I don't have any trouble with it,...We all should be careful when ordering these high priced filters, maybe talk to someone when ordering to make sure that you are getting the correct filter,..and not order over the Internet!!! and definitely keep tabs on them to TRY to prevent any problems!!! Thanks for the head up!
