For those interested in the 997TT tip, here's my feedback on Rennteam
w210 ditto about the 996 el cheapo interior vs 997! That was one of the main things that pointed me in e55 direction. The other main thing was the lack of steering wheel adjustment!! (if i recall could you even move it at all?! i just remember sitting in it with the wheel really high, and thinking, nah i dont like this. what is with that?!) Hows the adjustment like on the 997's?
great review! think we'd all like to see some exterior pics too! throw in the 750 even!
The 750Li photos, I took them awhile back:

Pictures of the 997TT will come shortly.
I would have to agree with them. Spent an hour with a gorgeous white TT and my 997S sounds better. Hopefully I'll be ordering one this time next year.
, perhaps I'm just too shy!

BTW
Do you think you could post a picture of the navigation screen on?
More pictures..
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
2. Your driveway needs a good powerwash
3. 911's are great cars, but I increasing find that you need to be a contortionist to get in and out of them
4. I still think that the Cayman is the best handling Porsche I ever own (had 5)
5. Great color
6. w210, I never knew you are such an exhibitionist. The E55s and the AMG55s are great bcuz they are so understated. Porsches just scream "gold chain, look at my hairy chest" How can you stand the attention?
7. I beleive a Ferrari should be next on your list
8. Enough about Porsches already. This is an MB forum!!! >:-)

Great pictures and awesome car ... any more eye candy ?
Seems "boot" is larger (although still not big) than the 996's which was a really tiny hole... Whats the piece in the boot with what seems to be a vent on it at the top thats sort of preventing the boot being a rectangle ?
Has the tank size increased ?

2. Any good recommendations? Too busy uploading pictures no time to do house maintenance. Is Geoffrey available or is he back in school?
3. Totally agree, and I need to get into shape.
4. You filthy rich eye doctor 5 Porsches not counting your model cars. Yeah, they all say Cayman is the best handling, I wonder if they'll have a Cayman turbo?!
5. I almost want to park it outside so much easier to wash, no water spots on silver even if I don't dry right away.
6. I'm just cheap - looking for the best car to drive that doesn't depreciate too much.
7. And I can't afford a Ferrari, besides, they're more suitable for middle age eye doctors living in Vancouver (who can't spell believe).
8. It's a E-class AMG forum, are you thinking of the E63?

I think the odd piece in the trunk is the navigation system, DVD pops out from the right side and the vent must be for cooling.
Fuel tank slightly increased from 996TT's 64 litres to 997TT's 67 litres.

"Porsches just scream "gold chain, look at my hairy chest" How can you stand the attention?"
come on, he got SILVER!!!! thats as subtle as you can get, no?!
right on about not having to worry about water spots with silver!! everyone loves black, im sure many would agree not to own black after having to wash black 3 times a week
However, by keeping the rev at 4k rpm, the car next to you will definitely know that you're trying to race or launch the car. With the E55, you simply step on it and go, more simple actually.
Haven't been in a stick 997TT so cannot compare, but according to Porsche, the tip is faster.
