...........Gallardo is listed twice because it involves two model years. Look again. The 2006 is faster than the 2003. For the most part it looks like the greates predictor of better acceleration is the youth of the car. The newer cars are faster than the older ones. I suppose at some point something will be faster than a W211 E55. I am no fan of the 63 series, but looks like AMG knew what they were doing. I looked at Car and driver magazine today and they had the same numbers for 2006 gallardo........meaning a 0-60 of 4.0 secs. I wonder if that is where the figures on the list came from.

i said IF the 997tt is 2WD then it should not be faster than its big brother. but since it is 4WD, then it has the traction advantage off the line compare to other faster 2WD cars.
