Or was it to stop Brabus from taking all of the credit for big engines ? Now that oil prices are so high who wants to bet that the next big news will be some kind of diesel that runs on Coal distillations.

Why do you think that the transmission is so closely tuned to the engine .... giving almost no room for power increases without a rebuild.
