Hey guys --- the track was *****... unprepped!!! Totally ridiculous.... Loren and I spun all the way down the track (till about 70mph). By the end of the day I kind of "learned" to drive on the ****ty track. Still couldn't hook up though... 60 ft. were junk all day. 2.2-2.5
By the end of the day I was consistently putting down 12.0x @ 119.
Just to give you an idea of how ****ty the track was ... my best 60' was 1.997 and had an average 60' of 2.2. My 60 ft. ranged from 2.2 - 2.5. TERRIBLE!!!!! If the 60' was where it should have been 1.8 my 12.0 run would have easily been an 11.6-11.7. As you know... it's all about traction in these cars.
By the way my buddies m6 pulled a 12.9 @114.. very impressive on this track.
----- when are we getting the video????
Had a great time guys... enjoyed meeting everyone!

it was a great event...
small crowd.. great cars and people..
I was there to witness some incredible runs.
first of: DragonAMG.. put down 12.0xx at 118/119 a few times
The M6 (not broken in yet) ran a 12.9xx with 114 trap (113 consistent)
The E63 ran 13.2xx to 13.4 consistent and trap 110 to 108
For the few times I saw the E55 stock.. The Stock 55 and 63 had simlar trap speeds 108 or 109 but as mentioned by John, he got a 13.0xx on a stock E55 with pano roof.
For what is worth.. on this day on this track the E63 and E55 are very close.
The M5 was at low 13's all day with I think he did have a higher trap than the stock 55's. (we all know this story)
What I learned.. the E63 is capable of much more.. he only has 700miles on it. Once he learns how to use his machine and under the right conditions it will match the M5's trap speed and but it would not have the lowest ETA's like the 55k.
The M6 is a sick car for being stock. 114mph compared to 108 or 109 on stock E55 or E63... there is a big difference.
The C55 ran mid 13's to hight 13's with 102 to 103 trap speed. (only 5mph difference from stock 55ks) He did have DR's.
There is so much video tape and so many pictures.. that my recap is just a informal review and it is probably 80% accurate. I just remembering some times. Time slips to be posted soon I'm pretty sure.
The promoter of this event LOREN, was a great guy and he had the nicest Van I have seen in years. His car ran low ETA's but his trap speed was not on par with DragonAMG. Thier traps were 4 to 5 mphs from each other. We suspect is the "ECU" set to default. Since he is still dealing with Kleemann to get the right files.
ON this day on this track.. K2's rule!

Topgun32,
Forgive me for not intraducing myself.I heard you saying your name in the back ground to one of the other people there but I was getting into my car at the time and forgot to come back and say hello. Its good to see you made it out today, even if you didnt race your car.
All in all it was a great day,too some a learning day,to others a huge dissapointment day.None the less it was still a day of racing, meeting new faces and dodging work!
And for the record IM still the King at 11.99@107!!!!!!!!!!

The best kodak moment was seeing the guys test the christmas tree and timers by driving their electric buggy down the track. top speed of the electric buggy was about 40mph The Speedway officials said elevation was 1100 ft above sea level. Yes, the track was crappy. Lots of trouble with traction for all the cars. They moved the track to a different location now. I wasn't sure where it was since it's been months since I've been there.

First off thanks to Loren for putting this event together.
It was still a fun day considering the crappy track conditions. As someone said, it seemed like all cars were running about 0.4 seconds slower than they would elsewhere (1400 ft elevation?). When I (least amount of torque/hp) was able to light up my street tires on the first run without even applying the throttle halfway I knew we would be in for a long day tractionwise. There were 2 interesting things that happened today but luckily nothing worse became of it.
We should definitely do this again.

There should be plenty of pics and video out there, seems everyone there had a camera or phone in their hand at one time in the day.
