Hoping to make the 8 hour trek down there for this.
Keeping fingers crossed.
Any chance we could get RogerV to bring the S65? If I could watch 65's do a side-by-side run (Trey and Roger) , I could die a happy man.

Rocket, for sure stockers and DR's. You'll run the 20's and always be asking yourself, "Wonder how much faster it would have been". This way, there's no guessing.

Sorry guys, I don't think I can make it since I will be in Tokyo.
I am back in town this week through May 1st.
Anyone up for Sac on the 25th (wed) or 28th (sat)?
I'm ready to make a 10 second pass at 130 MPH this time.

But it will be cool to see what I can do in my car. I am more interested in checking out some E55's though...

A good point....
YEARS ago when I used to go to Sac Raceway, if your car was in the 13's or faster, you had to wear a helmet. I am bringing mine just in case! I forgot about that....
I think I am still a go for the 2nd. If this is a regular drag night, it will be crowded as hell. Best get there a little early so you can be near the front of the grid.....and be able to watch your ride.
IIRC, they used to have "Test and Tune" during the day (like 9am-5pm) on Saturdays. It was like $20 and you could run as much as you wanted to. Also, there were basically ZERO punk asses there (the kind of guys that would spit on, or key your car while you weren't looking). If there is still test and tune, I would be much more down for that...I will look into it.

Looks like the next Test and Tune is on Friday June 8th...but it is $100 now! DAMN! LOL. Here are the requirements for cars:
All drivers must have a valid state driver's license.
All vehicles must pass a basic NHRA ET Bracket safety inspection. For a full listing of requirements, consult an NHRA Rulebook.
A single co-driver is permitted in vehicles running slower than 14.00 seconds. Co-drivers must be at least 16 years old and must sit in the front seat.
All drivers and co-drivers must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops).
SFI approved helmets are required for all vehicles running quicker than 14.00 seconds.
Significant additional requirements including but not limited to a roll bars and driver's jackets are required for vehicles quicker than 11.50 seconds.
Motorcycle racers slower than 10.99 seconds are required to wear a heavy jacket, gloves, helmet with eye protection, and shoes covering the tops of the ankles. Significant additional requirements including full leathers are required for motorcycles quicker than 10.99 seconds.
Edit: Being as the Street LEgal Fun Drags are still on Wednesdays, and still only $15, and the GrudgeFest is $35, I bet most of the punk asses wont be there. Should be ok, but I dunno. I am a little worried about bring the car out, but we'll see.
