E63 Dead Pedal

The new E63 has a metallic/rubber dead pedal that matches the "upgraded" pedals that many E55 owners have added to their cars. Does anyone have a part number for this pedal?

My E55 has a metal dead pedal too. Is that what you mean? Or something different?

Don't want your car, your engine, or the price you paid, just your dead pedal. That's the first thing I noticed when I sat in one. Prior years designo has it too.

the day I want an E63, I'll just shove a banana up the tailpipe, put a bigger pulley on a supercharger, and hit the brakes for a few seconds before hitting the end of the quarter mile.

So how does it feel to have the old school versions of the Viper AND the E?

Handling is what people with slow cars say when they run out of reasons on why their car is a second class citizen of the hot rodding community. Having a new E63 is like dating a 21 year old prom queen that doesnt f$ck and leaves you with blue *****. Basically shes an hot looking expensive date that will never put out. Having an E55 is like dating a 29 year old **** star that will f$ck your brains out and asks you if you mind if she brings her hot lesbian friend to the bedroom next time. Stop hijacking my thread *****.

Standard on '06 E55's and '07 E63's - IIRC, it's an integral part of the carpeting, not a separate item. You want it, you replace the carpet. Sorry, no part #'s.

Smoking aside, I wouldn't exchange my e55 for an E63 even if I were to get paid for it. Enjoying the active seats? what? The E63 don't have that option? Awwe, too bad. Maybe you can peeece mule one together for yourself?

Everybody relax. No controversy or rivalry here.

Smokin and I go waaaaaaaaay back and are just cranking up the entertainment factor a bit. I'm the one who finally talked sense into him and got him to trade in his Nissan M45 on the E55.

He can never leave well enough alone (what enthusiast could?) and always wants more...making him an easy target. We both know what buttons to push and it is always in fun.

I drive what I drive because it is what I choose to drive. I've had an E55, M5, many Vipers, Vettes, and now the E63 and Ford GT. Who knows what is gonna be next..? I sure don't but I know it will be fun, interesting and my choice. I wave no manufacturers flag.

You both hold your own pretty well. Fun points and great cars to the both of you.
