My E55 Dyno Results...
I did it! I took the beast in this afternoon to have her Dyno'ed and the results looked good! My best was 425.02hp / 482.98tq! Bone stock.
We put the car in "M" and took it up to 4th gear to about 2500rpm and then he punched it each run.

Then I took video of the final run so I hope this works...

To start off, the shop I went to was found by beowulf from a search he did in my area, so thanks man! Also, thanks Josh for the steps to get my car in Dyno mode! The guys at that shop were very friendly and only the shop owner knew what an AMG was. Time to educate more on the great name!
After the 1st run on the Dyno, a crowd had gathered around in amazement b/c they couldn't believe what #'s they were seeing from a "4-door benz" - and the #'s only got better! At one point another guy from another shop came over (who tunes cars) and was pretty impressed with the tq #'s and asked me several times if I'm sure the car was stock. I told him bone-stock and I don't even have any filters (K&N).
The shop manager said he will email me the color copy as his printer was out of color ink but here are the results. Let me know what ya guys think as I'm now definitely anxious to mod her!
The guys said I should hit 430hp on the next run but the car was set to "S" mode instead of "M" and in the middle of the run the engine bogged down. Not sure why? This was after the car had sat about 20 - 25 minutes.
Then a guy shows up in his Ford GT!!!

...the car was NIIIIICE. It was a great day at the shop!

20+ to list......
FYI, Ford GT dynos around 570whp on a dynojet. One Ford GT I came across while dyno tuning my friend's Subaru dynoed 612whp with an exhaust and reflash. Crazy nice car.

Thanks guys!
I was thinking about the re-flash recall but I confirmed with the dealer that it had already been done by them before I took delivery -
so who knows where my #'s could've been!? Humidity was higher than normal for Fresno weather too so I'm wondering if I could get better #'s. A good start before mods so I'll have to save more money until then...but I can't wait!

Funny you say that b/c as I was filming it drive away, listen to what the shop owner in the background says about my car...

...the cool thing was all the guys at the shop had a lot of respect for AMG's when I left that place. They all wanted to see my car race it too but the guy left before I was done with my dyno runs. I would have gotten raped by the GT but it would have been great to get it on video!

LOL - no I know the quality sucks but it's the only way I know how to upload the video in such a short time. I have a regular video recording off my video camera but it has a feature where I can record from the video onto an MPEG format (inferior quality) and then I can save this to the memory disk and insert my memory disk to my computer and upload the video. I suck when it comes to this high tech stuff!

So, any plans to get your C55 dyno'd before you sell it? Is it still bone stock?

My C55 is also stock and I told the shop guy I was going to bring it in later this week, so we'll see what the mini-beast has got!

Great pulls, Nick! Man, that was a quick dyno appointment turnaround! Glad you were able to find a local facility to meet your needs. Now you need to head up to Sacto to get some bone stock quarter-mile times!

Nick,
You definately have a very powerful E55. Congrats on that. I was wondering in the first picture, between the two exhaust pipes, is that an LSD? It looks like a big ole heat sink. I noticed that my car doesn't have it. I noticed another CLS that had it but the CLS had the 030 package.

I just called the shop owner and he said he will email me the original graph which will show the colors. The pic I posted includes the torque graph but it's too light to pick up. I'll post the original as soon as I get it.
x-tian:
No my car doesn't have LSD but like RawAMG said, I have this thing on my C55 too.
