How's the VRUS throttle body installs comin??

I have not given my baby any food or water as we are now less than 24 hours from surgery.

Please keep her in your prayers as she goes under the knife tomorrow.

Anyone else mid-install or about to go in??

I just got mine last Friday so the install will probably be next week.
Good luck my friend.

I think Kens-E55 is the first one to be done.. He dropped it off at C2 designs last week so it should be installed & running. I haven't gotten any calls from C2 so I assume everything went smoothly.. I'm dying to hear Ken's impressions when he gets back.

I just helped a friend replaced his E55 motor in his garage, and I noticed there's 2 throttle body for the motor, one primary one where the intake tube connects, and a 2ndary one in the aftercooler from the supercharger. I assume the VRUS one replaces the primary one to 80mm, but if leaving the 2ndary one unchanged, would that making the primary one bigger do anything since the 2nd one is still smaller than first?

The second one is the bypass valve. Increasing it's size will not improve performance but removing it on the other hand might.

You are right...by keeping a bypass closed the boost will raise up approx by 0.2+....So with ASP pulley it will raise from 1.1 to 1.3...and this is another 40 hp or so...

Bypass valave can be programmed throught ECU...some German chip tuners know how...Wetterauer, MKB, Evotech...

Did you finished you ECU tweakening ??? what are results ???

Hey everyone - I'm back from extensive travels
Spoke to Chris @ C2 and he was hoping to have the new Dyno #'s today,
The baseline before install was 454 RWHp/// 504 RWTq.
He's a little behind as the Carbon Fiber work is taking longer to get done
then what he was expecting. I'll post #'s as soon as I get them!!!
