V12tt E

Guys, I don't mean to bring up an older topic without any explanation, but I am just curious as to where the idea of an E65 went? Without having total knowledge of the exact requirements, but obviously put into the EV12, how usable would the V12TT in the E be? It seems that AMG is drifting away from these huge torque figures, but you'd think they'd at least give it a shot, I mean, they do have an R63, I'm sure the E65 would sell comparatively, no? Anyways, if we never see one, how easily could one be built? Final Price? Daily Driver? Just curious from anyone with info. Thanks.

Well I understand that the EV12 exists, as I stated earlier, but that isn't an E65, but I guess all information that will ever be available has already been posted so there is no point in speaking on it further, I'll just search through your thousands of posts ClayJ.

Search "EV12" and "SV12" -- you won't have to search any more than that.

Really is a non-issue, unfortunately, as both of these cars (and I assume the 'Rocket' CLS as well) were One-Offs and won't go into production with Brabus....

I am still planning on talking with Bottrop, directly; and still have hopes of having an 'EV12' - or such - produced.

I am meeting with AMG in Germany here shortly to have some cars built; and I may ask them about dropping a bi-turbo 12 into an E -- but there's not much point to that, I don't think, as the engine drops easily and appropriately into an S or G Class, but they have never done so with an E - as far as I know....

If a V12 E-Class happens for me I will share it with the members of MBWorld.

And no, I just don't think anyone else out there is crazy enough to try it - unless MKB or Bin Sulayem decide to work on one.
