Help with decision on a 2003 E55
HI GUys,
I am moving back from BMW to MB.
And i have looked at 2003 E55, 2007 E63 and 2007 E350 Sport.
Among all those, for the price i liked the 2003 E55 the best.
Options are, Black with black, pano, xenon and auto trunk, keyless go.
No nav and no PDC.
asking 57,000 with 18,000 miles.
Is this a good deal and any issues i should be concerned? I heard some horror stories about 03's .. but .. any input would be appricited.

At auction 2003 E55's with 16-20k miles are going for $50k-$52k.
I would think you have some negotiating room, especially since it doesn't have navigation.

Wow .. i figure it ... damm dealers....
They were asking 59,000 for it .. and i was only able to come down to 57,000 and is CPO.
Car looks clean ... so iguess i will pay a bit more for it ..
But any issues i should be concerned about?

Been driving an 03 for about 2 years now and she runs PERFECT!!!
Of course typical MB issues, but nothing major.
Don't forget that warranty bro...don't leave home in an MB without it!!!
Most 03's are gonna be running out soon.

Do the MB warranty, if possible. I don't trust aftermarket warranties, as many of them tend to be very sketchy. $57k for a low mile CPO car isn't too bad coming from a dealer. You can do better but, at a dealer, not much.

I did not try the E550, but i did drive the E350 Sport and ...
I went and got an 03 E55.
I was not able to work on the car price, and i was walking away, and they gave me a 1.9% MB Finance rate .. and i was like WHAT ???
So ... i am now a proud owner of 03 E55 with warranty!!
Can;t wait to get my first mod !
