ah crap. does this mean i have this problem? i brought it to the dealer and they stated it didn't have any faults and told me to keep an eye on it.
so the question is, is there a fix for these type of problems?

mbamg06e55: what you are describing sounds normal. The AMG gearboxes hold the gear at high revs for a sec after you let go of the throttle. i like it, because it helps to keep the revs up when you are getting on it. That sounds like what you are getting. Basically, the tranny thinks you are being sporty, so it holds gear, then when it can tell you aren't it shifts up, even though you are decelerating. It is a matter of timing. Still get it checked as per the noise, but i would go dropping a new tranny in if it doesn't need it. The E55 trannys are very rugged and once that "seal" is broke, you never know.
mbamg06e55, any news on the advisor there at autobahn?
