Just tell your S.A. to hook up DAS to your car and pull all the codes.. Do the QUICK TEST in DAS and it will report all the stored codes.
If the pump failed, it will have the code there and they will know what to do at that point..
If it's not the pump, the issue will show itself based on which codes they see.
