Guys a 550 vs a 55 AMG, they shouldn't have even raced...it was a no brainer. Fun to see the BMW guys telling each other to watch out for the MBs though!

I'm currently in an e60 545i at the moment. Looking to get into a 2007 M5 or Mercedes E55/E63 or CLS55/63. I have a few months to decide.
The torque of the E55/CLS55 is intoxicating...

I haven't heard any E550 taking on the 550i yet. The time reported for the E550 is 4.8 and for the 550i is 5.0, I believe. My buddy owns a 550i and likes to run everybody. He'll run into a E550 sooner or later.

That is why I'm looking into a M5, E55/63, or CLS55/63. Having one of these will put me in front of the pack for awhile at least.

The ongoing horror of malfunctioning SMG's on the M5's made the E55 and easy choice for me.
Also, unless you plan on revving the **** out of it, how useful is an 8250 redline going to be on a daily basis?
I had an M5 play with me a few months ago one day when I brought the Cobra to the office. It got very ugly for him very quickly. I'm sure he thought he just pulled into a parking space.

Same screen name. I know which white 550i you're talking about too. It belongs to iceman316. He's featured in some import tuner magazine with his almost identical twin. If anyone sees him on the highway in Socal don't be afraid to run him. His exhaust sounds awesome but at the expense of horsepower. I ran him in my 545 and pulled on his 550. That shouldn't happen b/c my other buddy pulled on me with his 550.
