CPO question
My 04 is CPO'd until 09 and 100k...my dealer has that in the records of the car but I have NO paperwork or certificate to put in my records of the car. Is there some certificate I should have and if so...who the hell do I call to get one...

When did you buy the car.?
It took almost 5 months

In june...pre-owned...so I should be getting something from MB ? Got nothing to verify from previous owner . But the MB computer knows it's CPO. I just like to have a piece of paper on record if I can get it.

There's a little Starmark booklet with a place for the first (Starmark) owner to sign it over to you. Since a dealer intermediary would invalidate the Starmark, you're supposed to take that signed booklet to a dealer to reregister. The other danger is that the previous owner can take that booklet to the dealer and declare the Starmark terminated to get a refund for value not used.
I'd get the dealer to help you get the warranty officially transfered. Now, before you need it.
